Describe the area involved
Detection, secure paste, tray behavior, trial/licensing, settings, or app rules.
Attach logs if useful
Optional: include %APPDATA%\AFKClipboardGuard\logs\app.log if it helps reproduce the issue.
Trial and activation
The free trial runs for seven days. It is complete, no feature is disabled. The trial and the licence key work without any account and without any online activation: AFKClipboardGuard contacts no server of ours in order to run, and sends no telemetry. If your key is not accepted, write to support@afksecurity.online with the key and the version shown in the tray menu. The trial length and the refund terms are set out on the pricing page.
What the software does, and what it does not do
AFKClipboardGuard monitors clipboard activity locally, detects content that looks like a secret (passwords, tokens, JWTs, private keys) and can move it into an encrypted local vault instead of leaving it in the clipboard. It offers secure paste, automatic clipboard clearing, PIN protection for the vault, and per-application rules for risky contexts such as remote desktop tools. It also warns about Windows Clipboard History and Cloud Clipboard settings that increase exposure.
It does not technically prevent another application from reading the Windows clipboard: that control does not exist in the system. It shortens the window during which sensitive content sits there, and it warns you.
